These are a few of my favorite things
Sunday, February 23, 2014 § 0
Wow. It's been 15 months since I last updated this blog. The Boyfriend has been constantly bugging me to start writing about food again, but I just haven't been feeling inspired lately. It's not that I haven't eaten food worth blogging. Heck, Boyfriend and I have been eating around the metro like crazy, hence my weight gain. I don't know. This isn't really a "feelings" blog so I don't wanna get into it.
But here I am. Blogging. And I am struggling because I don't know where and how to start. I thought of writing about our latest fine dining date (which was last Valentine's Day), but then it hit me. Favorites. Places we keep going back to, and food that made a real impact on our taste buds. So here goes. (Pardon the pictures, they're all from Instagram.)
Celebrating 5 Years at Impressions
Sunday, November 18, 2012 § 0
Boyfriend and I recently celebrated our 5th year anniversary at Maxim's with their Sunday brunch. It was such a memorable meal and I thought it'd be the perfect entry to come back from my 5-month hiatus with.
Lusso and the Foie Gras Burger
Tuesday, May 8, 2012 § 0
Many things have been said about Lusso's famous foie gras burger, and for my 23rd birthday, Boyfriend and I decided to give it a try. We were originally planning on dining at the Phoenix Court in Bellevue, but because I was stuck in Greenbelt, we ended up at Lusso where we had the most amazing time.

Maitre Chocolatier: No Such Thing as Too Much Chocolate
Thursday, February 23, 2012 § 1
Great movies deserve sequels, the same goes for great dates. Since our Valentines date didn't go as smoothly as planned, we went on another food adventure, this time at Maitre Chocolatier. No gifts, no dressing up, just the two of us enjoying each other's company and some pretty kick ass food.

Celebrating 4 Years at Isabelo Garden Restaurant
Tuesday, October 25, 2011 § 4
To get to Isabelo Garden Restaurant in time for our 8pm reservation, Boyfriend and I had to endure crazy traffic all the way from McKinley Hill to Marikina. It was a bit of an adventure going there, as the restaurant is hidden right at the heart of Marikina. But once we stepped inside, we knew we have unearthed a treasure. About Me
- Tables for Couples
- My boyfriend and I have been in a constant search for great new places perfect for dates. In our 6 years together, we've already tried a variety of venues suitable for couples of all ages - from your regular McDonalds, insane yakiniku places, quaint and cozy little restaurants, fine dining, hotel buffets, weekend markets to resorts that go beyond Manila. But we want more. I believe that Manila, and the Philippines as a whole, has a lot of secrets waiting to be discovered. So from here on out, I will share with you our adventures with food, and maybe even life. Itadakimasu.
